HypnoBirthing® Education Programme
The HypnoBirthing® programme consists of 4 units running over 4 consecutive weeks and the duration of each unit is between 2 – 3 hours. Parents or Mother and Birthing Partner attend the programme together.
Unit 1 - Setting the Stage
Building a positive expectancy, hypnosis and deep relaxation exercises introduced with the aim of creating positive birth outcomes.
Unit 2 - Falling in Love With Your Baby
Introducing pre-birth, prenatal and postnatal bonding with your baby. Preparing your mind and body through relaxation and breathing.
Unit 3 - Getting ready to Welcome your Baby
Viewing birth videos and reading of Daddy’s promise which states unconditional love for his unborn baby. Birth preferences discussed and how to be assertive in a maternity unit.
Unit 4 - Overview of Childbirth
Birth explained simply, birth rehearsal imagery and visualization for optimal birth position. Showing of birthing DvD.

Course Availability
Course Venue & Costs
The course venue is in a specially designed room in Synergy Health Care, 300 Cregagh Road, Belfast. The course costs are £210 per couple who attend a group course. There will be no more than four couples who will be in one group.
